LED Sign Request
Request a community message on the LED marquee sign.
The LED marquee is owned by the Lockney Economic Development Corporation. Its first priority is public safety information, such as storm preparedness, road closures and emergencies. The City Secretary approves, schedules and posts all messages.
Who can request a message
- The City of Lockney and other government agencies in the city
- Civic, community service and non-profit (501(c)(3)) organizations in the city
- Schools in the city
- Organizations sponsoring youth, public health or safety activities in the city
Messages that are not accepted
- Business or commercial promotions
- Personal messages such as birthdays or anniversaries (except “Welcome Home” greetings for Lockney residents returning from active military duty)
- Campaign or political messages, other than election dates and times
- Religious promotion (charity and community events that are open to everyone may be approved)
How to apply
Download and complete the LED Marquee Rules and Request Form , then return it to City Hall, 218 E. Locust St., or email it to cityhall@cityoflockney.com.
